A self-aligning three-jaw clamp and ballast mat work together to keep the umbrella pole steadier in sand.
Eight steps
How to anchor a beach umbrella in sand, start to finish.
No tools, no stakes, no screwing into the sand. Assemble, position, fill, seal.
Insert the legs
Slide the four legs into the central body and lock them with a slight twist until fully engaged.
Fit the mat
Lay the mat over the frame, fitting each leg into its pocket on the underside.
Insert the pole
Put the umbrella pole into the central socket, leaving at least 15 cm protruding below the base.
Secure the pole
Tighten the fixing system, screwing the device onto the pole until the anchoring is stable and secure.
Position it
Place the assembled structure on the ground exactly where you want the shade.
Close two zips
Close two of the four zips on the mat, leaving one side open for filling.
Fill with sand
Fill the device with sand until it is evenly distributed across the whole surface.
Seal it
Once filled, close the remaining two zips to seal the system completely.

The USD 2 reservation gives priority launch access, early Kickstarter access, a reserved early-bird offer, priority allocation, and priority delivery where possible. Final product purchase is separate.
